Cohutta Bank will open a new branch and executive offices at the 800 block of Market Street in the historic Loveman’s building. Renovation has begun on the 111 year old space and is on schedule for a September 30th completion date.
The new branch, designed by Neuhoff Taylor Architects, will feature sustainable design elements which will make it eligible for LEED certification. The 15,000 square foot space will optimize energy performance, feature a great deal of natural light, and house a recycling center for employees. To date, over 26,000 pounds of construction waste has been diverted from area landfills by recycling construction waste. The Cohutta Bank project is the fourth LEED project in which The Strauss Company has helped attain certification.
The Strauss Company is also renovating two additional commercial spaces in the Loveman’s building for Real Estate Partners and Stewart Title.
