Habitat for Humanity of Greater Chattanooga’s 1st Annual Mud Run was a huge success, raising over $23,000 for the organization. Over 200 teams turned out to compete in the 5k obstacle course. The Strauss Company, Inc. was a sponsor of the event and was responsible for constructing the courses most memorable obstacle, the mud pit. Paul Hatala of The Strauss Company spent two days creating the mud pit and commented, “We’ve found several shoes and a t’shirt in the aftermath!”
“We’re excited that the Mud Run was such a success and we look forward to helping out with next year’s race”, said John Straussberger. Special thanks to H & E Equipment Services for use of their excavation equipment.
